“Shaniya Davis” Little Angel funeral set for Sunday!

The sad ending to the Shaniya Davis story will mark its last chapter on Sunday. It’s the day of her funeral. Fayetteville, that day would be open to all, as all those who were involved in the tragic story can come and pray, so that she rests in peace.

The five-year-old was first reported missing on Nov. 10th, and then her body was found about 100 feet off a road southeast of Sanford, in central North Carolina.

Arrested in her case are two people, one of which is her mother, Antoinette Nicole Davis, 25. Davis was arrested last Saturday on accusations of human trafficking, filing a false police report, and felony child abuse with respect to Shaniya, whom police say was rented out as a sex slave by her mother.

Here is the chain of all the horrific events that occurred to this little child.

November 10, 2009: Shaniya Davis was reported missing. Cumberland County authorities said foul play was suspected.
November 10, 2009: Police horrifying surveillance video (noted above).
November 13, 2009: Mario Andrette McNeill Charged with kidnapping. He was the man shown in the video.
November 14, 2009: Shaniya’s mother, Antoinette Davis, arrested, as noted above.
November 16, 2009: Shaniya Davis found dead on Monday afternoon.
November 16, 2009: Vigil Held for Shaniya Davis, with Shaniya Davis’ father, Bradley Lockhart, in attendance.
November 17, 2009: Antoinette Davis, Shaniya’s mother, reported to be pregnant, by her aunt.
November 20, 2009: Shaniya Davis cause of death determined by autopsy to be asphyxiation.
