3 reasons why Oprah Winfrey quit her show

The most powerful woman on the planet, Oprah Winfrey, shocked the entire world after venting a public statement on ‘Larry King Live’, a prime show of US television. The dynamic lady who has been ruling supreme over the telly-world since 1986, broke down as she declared that she’s quitting her highly-popular talk show in 2011 as her contract draws to an end.
Herein, we present the 3 reasons that prompted her to take the tough call:

1.    Frustration & sense of completion- After doing the same thing for close to 25 years, now, she finds that time is ripe to move on. She feels her journey as an anchor is now complete & she must embark on an all-together different venture. Frustration has surely crept into her conscience.

2.    Personal factors- She has, of late, faced a series of personal attacks that has been tormenting her soul. Her own father Vernon has lashed at her in his memoir ‘Things Unspoken’ calling her an ‘unruly child who was out of hand’.

3.    Humanitarian work- After egging megastars from Tom Cruise to Michael Jackson to reveal their other side, now, she has no inclination to work on the same line. The 55 year old celebrity-woman is geared up to devote her time towards bettering her nation USA & desires to “ change the laws, state-by-state for child predators in this country.”
