7.3 earthquake rattles Okinawa Japan! Worst than the Haiti magnitude!
Okinawa, the extreme southwestern portion of Japan’s four main islands has been struck by an earthquake of a humongous magnitude of 7.3 in the rector scale. Japanese officials have issued beach evacuation orders immediately as they don’t want to take chance with a possible upcoming tsunami. (CNN)
Update: CNN’s breaking news flash has just been updated and it shows the earthquake to be a 7.0 instead of the earlier reported 7.3. In both cases, it seems that Japan has been hit hard.
Though the Japanese building are very well equipped to handle earthquakes unlike the Haitian buildings, a quake with a magnitude of 7 might just rattle well equipped earthquake proof buildings as well. No further news about the quake has been caught hold of yet but we are waiting anxiously to provide more update on it as soon as possible.
It seems that there is something terribly wrong with the whole world. At one side we have the Haitian earthquake, at another the never ending snow in America and now the earthquake in Asia, Japan.

Felt a good rattle this morning in northern Okinawa, but nothing was even knocked off the shelves. Not sure yet how things fared down south.
Well, so far everything seems fine. It didn’t seem that bad. The power is still on so thats good.
I woke up at 5:37AM… my room was rocking like a craddle, the earthquake was very intense. Thank God the infrastructure & building construction in Japan is excellent!!! =)
Oh, come on! Sure it was a good sized temblor, but Japan is far more prepared for earthquakes than Haiti. They have building codes very much like California.
I was standing duty here and even in a concrete building out cheap ceiling buckled some and emergency doors shut. I don’t think it’s as bad as it’s being led to believe but it rattled our barracks a bit.
This so calld “news” outlet is not interested in reporting the facts…but merely speculation and fiction.
I live in the Mizugama area. My house shook pretty good for about 30 or so seconds. Nothing was knocked over though. Although, it felt like my bed was possessed!
All I have to say is jesus christ is on his way, get ready saints we going home.

Down south things weren’t all that bad. The quake scared everyone a little bit, but nothing serious. I didn’t have anything fall off my shelves either. This article makes it sound horrible!
