Akshay Kumar: Honoured with ‘katana’ The Highest Japanese Honour

Akshay Kumar has really proved to the world that only with pure dedication and grit towards one’s Work and activities can one get recognition all over the world. It is his sheer hard work and love for Karate that has given him International recognition.
He was honoured with The Highest Japanese honour of ‘The Katana’ recently. Not only that, he also is the brand ambassador for the Special Olympics.
Akshay had held an Open Karate Championship and it was an amazingly successful show. Then, he has also shot for National Geographic Channel for a program called Seven Deadly Arts.
The good news for this Karate champ’s fans is that now he has also been selected as the representative at the 2010 Olympics for India and he shall be carrying the torch and leading the players. Now that is some privilege.
It is being said that very soon a grand luncheon is going to be held for some fifty Ceos of some reputed Tourism companies. The Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper is going to introduce Akshay as the Indian Torch Bearer from India at the 2010 Olympics. More over the Canadian Tourism Commission will be getting the torch to the luncheon venue.
Akshay will be presenting the Canadian PM with a token of Appreciation and will officially accept the honour of being India’s representative at the Olympics. Here’s looking forward for the Olympics.
