Alicia Keys has beaten Beyonce Knowles in the run towards Grammy nominations- by just 8 days.
Beyonce’s recently released, “If I Were a Boy,” could have given tough competition to Alicia Keys’ “Superwoman,” which is one of the major contenders for ‘Best Song’ and ‘Record’, reports Fox News.
However, released at Z100 on Oct 8 in New York, “Boy” missed the Grammy deadline by just eight days.
And the “Boy” has been touted as Beyonce’s best record ever in her career.
In fact, reports suggest that the single was set for a Sep 30 release in some, and was put on hold for an unknown reason. (ANI)
