Alicia Keys wanted to include Amy Winehouse in Bond theme song

Popstar Alicia Keys has revealed that she wanted to include Amy Winehouse in the recording of James Bond theme song.

Keys insisted that she would have “loved” to record with the troubled star.

The ‘Back to Black’ hitmaker was running for the official theme song of new Bond instalment ‘Quantum of Solace’, but the job eventually went to Keys and White Stripes frontman Jack White.

Winehouse, on the other hand, was pretty enraged and mocked the bosses for opting for a “clean-cut and boring” line-up.

However, Keys has stated that Winehouse should have been allowed to record the theme song.

“I would have loved for her to do it – it would have been awesome. All three of us should do it.” Contactmusic quoted Keys, as saying. (ANI)
