American Idol Result: Fantasia Barrino sizzles, Syesha Mercado out

So this American Idol night will be remembered for the the performance of former idol winner Fantasia Barrino and Syesha Mercado’s fans would like to forget this episode as soon as their mind allows them to.
The Wednesday night elimination show witnessed the exit of Syesha Mercado and was one of the biggest surprises of the American Idol. She was the last remaining female contestant and had to be contended with number 3.
While the viewers were dealing for the loss of Syesha on one hand, they enjoyed the fantabulous performance of Fantasia to the hilt. As the reuters blog puts it “She truly outdid herself, bursting onto the stage with a head of fire engine red hair and three backup dancers and delivering a high-energy performance of her song “Bore Me.”

There were people who loved it and were screaming and dancing with Fantasia Barrino, there was no dearth of people who were making faces at the way Fantasia was exuding all the “artificial” energy and “overdoing” it. The Said “Clearly she has lost it!”.
Fantasia Monique Barrino (born June 30, 1984), or simply Fantasia, is a multiple Grammy Award-nominated R&B/soul singer and award-winning Broadway actress who rose to fame as the winner of the third season of the television series American Idol in 2004. Her first album, Free Yourself, was certified platinum and received four Grammy nominations. Her second album, Fantasia, was certified gold, received three Grammy nominations and featured the 8-week #1 Billboard Hot R&B hit “When I See U.” Following a critically acclaimed run on Broadway as Celie in the musical, The Color Purple, Fantasia was cast to star in the movie version of the musical, which is slated to begin production in 2009.[Wiki]
