Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet and Julia Roberts: Women who can carry the film on their own?
There are not many actresses who have the capacity to carry an entire film on their own shoulders. However, some are blessed with that amazing feminine prowess:
1. Angelina Jolie- She has a brood of 6 children, 3 from 3rd world countries. She is recurrently shadowed by the camera and sprawled across gossip columns. But, that doesn’t deter her from being the sexy, effortless lady who can not only show her Mighty Heart, but also kick and punch as she did in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Brad Pitt, in her company, looks a mere shadow of his former self.
2. Kate Winslet- The curvy, voluptuous woman keeps us glued when she sheds her clothes and also when she puts on her acting shoes. From Titanic’s Rose to The Readers’ Hanna, she can unearth sense & sensibility from the depths of her unfathomable talent.
3. Julia Roberts- The Pretty Woman has been the America’s Sweetheart for over a decade. She has been a star far bigger than Tom Cruise or Richard Gere. With her confident attitude, killer smile and incredible acting mettle, she has carried off films like Erin Brokovich and the likes completely on her own.

Angelina Jolie is overrated . If it wasn’t for Brad, she would not even be that significant anymore. Her movies are mostly commerical failures with the exception of “Lara Croft”, and even then they could’ve put any unknown and the movie would have made money
I agree with Answ on Angelina Jolie.
I believe there are more powerful actresses than the ones you mentioned. They are Meryl Streep, Susan Saradon, Meg Ryan, Hillary Swank, Nicole Kidman and to a lesser extent, Sharon Stone. Powerful performers. Wonderful human beings.
#Answ if it wasn`t for Angelina , Brad would still be miserable in his marriage with Jennifer Aniston, with no kids and no awareness of the world! If it was`n for the `biggest female icon of our time` nobody would care about them and their boring lives! Thanks to Angelina both of them are in tabloides every day because their movies suck! Because she is THE STAR of Hollywood!!!!!
P.S I agree that Angie,Kate and Julia are top actresses but i would add Sandra Bullock to this group!
