Anne Hathaway says she would ‘go gay for Cate Blanchett’!

Anne Hathaway has said that she would go gay for Cate Blanchett.

The Devil Wears Prada star, who recently split from boyfriend Raffaello Follieri, has said that if she ever decided to change her sexuality then the ‘Lord of the Rings’ actress would be her perfect date. “If I was going to go gay for another actress it would have to be Cate Blanchett. Absolutely!” The Sun quoted Anne, as saying.”We could talk about the theatre and she has played a guy really well so if I got bored that’d be nice,” she added. (ANI)

She made her acting debut in the 1999 television series Get Real, but her first prominent role was in Disney’s family comedy The Princess Diaries (2001) starring opposite Julie Andrews, which established her career. She continued to appear in family films over the next three years, and she had the lead roles in Ella Enchanted and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement.She later starred in The Devil Wears Prada (2006) opposite Meryl Streep and in Becoming Jane (2007), in which she portrays Jane Austen. Her most recent movie, Get Smart, in which she plays the character Agent 99, was released in June 2008 and is currently the second highest-grossing film of her career.
