Axl Rose reveals his nightmare over interviews
- 0 Comments
Following the release of Guns N’ Roses’ new album, the band’s lead singer, Axl Rose, has said that he is in a perfect state to be interviewed – but declines to do so because it is a “nightmare”.
The band’s album ‘Chinese Democracy’ entered at number three in the Billboard chart at the beginning of this month with disappointing sales – and critics blamed the chart position on Rose’s refusal to promote the disc.
Rumours that he was suffering anthropophobia, a fear of people, were dismissed by his spokesperson last week.
And now Rose has said he is fine, and that he will be interviewed at a later stage – even though he hates being questioned.
“There will be proper interviews much later. Good idea or bad, we’ll see. I’m happy the record’s out, the rest, one nightmare at a time,” the Sun quoted him as saying.
The singer, who had disappeared after the release of the album, broke his silence online though he has not revealed where he has been hiding ever since delivering the band’s newly released album to the record label.
The singer had a virtual chat with fans on a band forum, where he revealed that he is delaying the “nightmare” of promoting the album until much later next year. (ANI)
