Betty Page once called Dita Von Teese a ‘poor mimic’

Late Betty Page had once branded actress Dita Von Teese “poor mimic” for imitating her beauty.

The Burlesque star recalled her encounter with Page, who, recently died after suffering a heart attack.

“She looked me up and down and said, ‘You’re an attractive girl, but a poor Bettie Page mimic,’” Contactmusic quoted Von Teese as saying.

“I said, ‘I know’ and she laughed,” she added.

Meanwhile, the 36-year-old star has been ignoring Comedian Russell Brand’s phone calls, ruling out any chance of romance with him.

Recent media reports suggested that Dita had given Brand her number following a meeting in L.A., and soon after began getting his calls.

Dita, however, said that giving her number to Brand did not mean she would date him. (ANI)
