Bipasha Basu: The Sultry Tantrum!

If it had been heard of some other actress then perhaps the news would not have been so much of a shock, but considering it to be Bipasha who was said to be badly behaved it is kind of unbelievable. According to the grapevine Bipasha Basu had gone for a launch for her fitness DVD called Love Yourself, that Shemaroo has bought the rights for at the Ramada Plaza.

Insiders reveal that she was supposed to go on stage and cut a cake. Now as she was ready for it the organizers asked her to invite the chairman of the hotel on stage as it was his birthday. This was somehow not accepted by the dusky damsel and she pointedly refused to call anyone on stage saying she was not there for any birthday celebrations.

According to sources everyone was taken aback by the actress’ behavior and thus the event managers had to stand red faced in front of the invited guests. There were rumors that the actress was paid RS 4 lakh   for a small presence on stage and yet she had behaved with such ruthless manners.

No one could convince the actress to relent and thus it all became a fruitless effort. Well, Bips to say the least is of course least bothered about such incidents but her fans who still can’t believe it are wondering what the problem really was. However the Shemaroo team is all support for the actress and they are defending her action saying it was their plan to keep things at a controlled level.
