Bollywood Music with Hollywood:AR Rahman collaborated with Pussy Cat, Pritam with Tata Young, Adnan Sami with Jermaine Jackson!

After Music Maestro AR Rahman collaborated with Pussy Cat for International appeal of music, which did get its fair share of accolades, it was followed suit by many others. There was Pritam who brought Tata Young in Dhoom and Snoop Dog in Singh is Kinng, then there was the album of Adnan Sami with Jermaine Jackson. The movie ‘Blue’ had pop star Kylie Minogue to attract audiences all over.
Now the more recent one being heard is that Latino singer Shakira is being approached for an Indo-Western song. Actually, it was Archie Pena, who is Shakira’s programmer, who approached the music maestros Sajid-Wajid of India for collaboration.
It just so happened, that Archie was a drummer with the musical duo for a popular song from the film ‘Wanted’. So considering that, he thought the three some could create some magic together. So the idea is being worked upon.
According to a source, the musical duo is scheduled to meet up with the pop star either in London or in the US. However, it might take at least two months for everything to fall into place.
The other music masters of India-Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy have already composed a song with Jim Bean who is the producer of Timbaland; the song release is not yet finalized. Yet talks are on to work for more albums with them featuring International artists.
With so many musical collaborations it is the audience who will benefit as there will be enough for them to be spoilt for choice.
