Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie: What exactly is the couple doing in Venice in the Oscar season?
Far from the madding crowd. That must be the sentiment Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt was feeling when they chose to spend the Oscar night in a quiet, homely birthday party in the romantic Italian city of Venice, where Jolie is currently planted for her shooting of The Tourist, her vehicle that has Johnny Depp in her opposite.
So when the red carpet on the other side of the Atlantic was abuzz with all the hot celebrities from the glossy tinsel-town and their sparkling dresses, gestures, idiosyncrasies Brangelina played perfect parents and took four of their kids to a party arranged by The Tourist director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck to celebrate one of his kid’s birthday.
The kids who accompanied their high-profile parents into the party were Shiloh, 3 1/2, Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, and Zahara, 5 while twins Knox and Vivienne stayed back at home.
There were talks that efforts were on to book Pitt as a presenter but evidently the hunk refused to be close to his family. Hope this one gesture would put to rest all those wacky split stories, at least for a while.
Meanwhile, M&G informs that Maddox, the Cambodian kid the couple adopted when he was seven months old, is credited with unusually high IQs. The test has labeled him as “intellectually gifted.”
The site quotes a source as saying: ‘His IQ is through the roof. Experts say he is incredibly intelligent for his age.
And the proud parents could not be happier. Reportedly Angie is going on telling everyone that Maddox is “beyond a braniac”, whereas the proud pop has invented a new moniker for the little genius-“my little brainbox.”
So don’t they look like a perfect family?

Good for them to have a break for this event, no competition with co stars, who wear best and ugly. that’s what show business is all about. Then critics start making fun to those out of their taste and become the laughing features of their day. What a miserable world. I am not against the award, if critics are honestly choice the right winner not by favoritism or money. There are more important thing in life that is more worth sharing with, and that’s your happy moment with your family. Making your kids grateful of Mom and Dad. This what makes to be a parent, and they are doing the right thing. Most of there co workers in the field understand. Except critics who had nothing to do with their self. Their job is to write truth with facts, and not guessing games to make headlines.
