Brad Pitt caught in a spin between bodyguard and the paparazzi

American actor Brad Pitt got a shocking reception at the premiere of his latest movie ‘The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button’ when he was grabbed and spun around by a guard.

The incident took place on November 10, as Pitt, who arrived 30 minutes early for the glitzy event at the city’s Bruin Theatre, made his way along the red carpet in Los Angeles.

He was pounced upon by hordes of celebrity snappers, say reports.

According to People.com, the plainclothes guard had been there to protect Pitt from the frenetic paparazzi’s, but he instead turned on the actor by spinning him around and pulling him backwards.

After sometime, Pitt, who was very confused about the whole incident, broke free from the guard, spoke to him, and then waited in an upstairs bathroom until the commotion died down.

But the actor was very cool about the whole incident, and did not blame the guard for it, insisting the paparazzi were more intrusive than ever.

“Though they were exceptionally more aggressive than usual breaking through a security barrier and into a private holding area, ultimately (it was) just another day in the life…” Contactmusic quoted him as telling People.com.

Apparently this is not the first time that Pitt has been leapt upon at a show, at the Venice Film Festival in September 2007 he was caught hold by a female fan who embraced him and refused to let go. (ANI)
