Britney’s comeback single ‘Womanizer’ delayed for spruce up

Britney Spears’ comeback single ‘Womanizer’, which was to hit the shelves on September 22, has been held back in a bid to put final touches to the song.

The singer’s label has decided to postpone the release of her new single after a part of it was leaked online, along with a secret recording of the singer practising her new dance routine in a studio.

The bit was picked up by a local US radio station and evoked a disappointing response.

“The label held the song back to make it as good as possible,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

The pop icon’s ‘Womanizer’ is now scheduled to release on November 24, while her comeback album ‘Circus’ will be launched on 2nd December – her 27th birthday.

Britney, who recently gleamed at the MTV Video Music awards winning 3 trophies, may soon be performing at the British reality show, ‘The X-Factor’. (ANI)
