American singer Bruce Springsteen has been chosen as the one to headline the Hard Rock Calling event in Hyde Park this summer.
The Dave Matthews Band and The Gaslight Anthem will support Springsteen at the gig on June 28th, and the Hard Rock Calling event will make up part of Springsteen’s latest world tour due to begin in April.
The tour is set to start in America and will conclude in Europe towards the end of May, reports Contactmusic.
Springsteen, 59, has been in the limelight quite often recently, with a performance at the Barack Obama’s presidential inauguration and at the Super Bowl XLIII.
His latest album ‘Working on a Dream’ has also topped the UK album charts on February 8 for the second week on a row, matching its position on the Billboard Top 200 chart in the US. (ANI)
