Gary Lightbody said they will be playing ‘Chasing Cars’, backed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and ‘Set the Fire to the Third Bar,’ a 2006 track originally recorded with Martha Wainwright. Martha is not in the house and that’s no problem because Cheryl Cole will fill up the space which would result in a complete improvisation of the song due to the contrast in the textures of voices amongst the artists.

Lightbody says, “They’ve very kindly given us two songs, not everyone’s been given two songs. We get to do ‘Chasing Cars’ with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. And they’re also let us play ‘Set the Fire to the Third Bar’ with Cheryl, which will be an interesting one because it was written for Martha Wainwright a very different and darker and unusual singer.”

She said ‘What song do you want to do?’ and we said that [’Set the Fire to the Third Bar’}, and she went away and listened to it. I think she’d only heard a couple of our singles. She got back straight away and said, ‘Yeah, I’m up for it.’ Hats off to her. “

The five-year-old was first reported missing on Nov. 10th, and then her body was found about 100 feet off a road southeast of Sanford, in central North Carolina.

Arrested in her case are two people, one of which is her mother, Antoinette Nicole Davis, 25. Davis was arrested last Saturday on accusations of human trafficking, filing a false police report, and felony child abuse with respect to Shaniya, whom police say was rented out as a sex slave by her mother.

November 13, 2009: Mario Andrette McNeill Charged with kidnapping. He was the man shown in the video.
November 14, 2009: Shaniya’s mother, Antoinette Davis, arrested, as noted above.
November 16, 2009: Shaniya Davis found dead on Monday afternoon.
November 16, 2009: Vigil Held for Shaniya Davis, with Shaniya Davis’ father, Bradley Lockhart, in attendance.
November 17, 2009: Antoinette Davis, Shaniya’s mother, reported to be pregnant, by her aunt.
November 20, 2009: Shaniya Davis cause of death determined by autopsy to be asphyxiation.

There will be tasks given and those are like cooking chappaties, washing utensils, etc. On completion of the tasks points will be given. Each episode will have a different twist to it. The rich have a major challenge to face as they have to forego their luxurious lifestyle and live with very limited supply of essentials.

How much of the show will intrigue the audience only time will tell, but the winner gets rupees 10 lakhs as prize money. So, to say that this should be incentive enough for the participants to work hard and try winning the amount would not be wrong.

The participants are people like Adam Bedi, Pooja Mishra, and Natasha Suri etc.

Let’s hope the show does well after the flying start that it has got.

Speaking of the ladies sangeet, Shilpa looked stunning with her straight hair open and pinned back neatly. Both her hands had “Mehendi” or “Hena” on them and the colour of the “mehendi” has come out really beautifully. It is said according to Hindu beliefs that if on the bride’s hand and feet the colour of the “mehendi” is dark and beautiful then the bride gets a lot of love and affection from her in- laws. So Shilpa is lucky.

The sangeet began with some south Indian songs and then according to sources, Shamita Shetty performed a skit along with some others and it got everyone in splits of laughter.Then it is reported that Shilpa herself danced on the bollywood number from the film ‘Chandni’, ‘Mere haathon mein nau nau chudian hai’.

It was also reported that towards the end of the show both the families of the Shetty’s and the Kundra’s were supposed to perform together on the ‘Om Shanti Om’ title track so that this would remain a special moment of remembrance for them all.

Well all we can say is that our breaths are held up to see what kind of wedding the hot couple of bollywood will be having in a few hours from now. God Bless the couple.

Then she visited Ritu Kumar’s boutique and there she chose a “Lehenga” in Fuchsia which had light “zardozi” work and also a “Maharani neckpiece” with “Kundan” work set in pure gold for her show.

Then after her stint for her show and her stay was drawing to a close she chose to shoot a little of the party given for the wrap of the shooting. The show also is going to attach some scenes from the party held at the Vie Deck & Lounge which is in Juhu. Jessica wore a turquoise coloured sari for the shoot for the 20 minutes that is going to be added to the show.

On the last day before leaving, she received a piece of modern art with the city of Mumbai depicted beautifully. It was gifted to her by the hotel staff. A very touched and happy Jessica bid goodbye to all with a promise to return at the same place the next time around as well.

He wanted subtle bling into the outfit, so we’ve added muted swarovski crystals.”

Tahiliani says, “I’ve used vibrant colors, brocade and crystallized Swarovski elements for Shilpa’s wedding dress, which is a stunning sari-drape in red, covered all over in ruby and Swarovski pearls.”
Ishu Datwani of Anmol Jewellers that has designed Shilpa’s bridal jewellery says, “She will be covered from head to toe in uncut diamonds.”

The couple will then take off for Bahamas for their honeymoon. “The honeymoon has been planned by Raj after doing a lot of research about places that Shilpa has not been to,” reveals a source.
Shilpa visited Siddhivinayak temple with Kundra and sister Shamita on Wednesday to seek divine blessings. This has always been a favorite place for the Bollywood stars before they start of with something like this!

Janet Jackson the sister of the star  told ABC News in an interview to air tomorrow that Cornard  Murray, the doctor who was operating Michael Jackson with his last breath should no longer be allowed to practice medicine. “He was the one that was administering,” she said. “I think he is responsible.”

Prosecutors in Los Angeles are weighing charges against Murray. A spokeswoman for Murray, Miranda Sevcik, said yesterday that Murray continues to maintain that he neither prescribed nor administered anything to Jackson that should have killed him. Jackson told ABC’s Robin Roberts that she was at her home in New York on June 25 when her assistant called to say that Michael had been taken to the hospital.

She says that a day doesn’t go by when she doesn’t think of Michael. “It just didn’t ring true to me. It felt like a dream,” she said. “It’s still so difficult for me to believe.”

So it is for his millions and billions of fans who are simply mad about his music! A grand salute to such a remarkable international figure! He created history in the world of pop and none can ever replace his originality whether it is his singing or nerve racking dancing steps!

The movie which was released on Nov 6th 2009 shows an overweight, illiterate  African-American teen  Claireece “Precious” Jones played by Gabourey Sidibe who lives in New York with her horrible family. She finds a new way to look at the world with her imagination and fantasies. While being raped, she begins to imagine herself shooting for a music video and she is the superstar there! When she looks at the photo album, she imagines the snaps talking to her. She looks at the mirror to see herself as a pretty blonde. She imagines living in another world where she is loved and appreciated by all unlike her real life!

Sadly, all “Precious” don’t really have the same luck. The recent case of Shaniya Davis is a pathetic and horrible repeat of the Hollywood flick only with a much dreadful twist at the end.

I put a chair at my front door and on my bedroom door nightly. I have had severe anxiety attacks, slept with a bat under my bed, developed high blood pressure and I’m sure other psychological damage.”
Grossman declined to identify the woman but said she is not a famous face like Andrews who is an ESPN reporter. The woman has claimed that she was being stalked by Michael Barrett at her home and workplace and harassed on the Internet, over the phone and through the mail.

Michael Barrett is charged with stalking Andrews following her to hotels in different cities. He videotaped her nude by aiming a cell phone camera through an altered peephole in her hotel room door.
Andrews had no clue that her privacy was violated. Not just once or twice, she was shot nude a number of times by Barrett without her knowledge. He had cunningly followed her from home to different hotels and had altered peepholes in the doors to set up the cell phone or the video shooting device.

He had posted a video in Google Video account under the title “Erin Andrews Naked Butt”. Also a French Website has another of his videos with the label “Sexy and Hot Blonde Sports celebrity shows us her all”.

“A renewed GMAC is crucial to business and public sector efforts to bolster the U.S. auto industry, and we have a special obligation to the public to do everything we can to ensure GMAC succeeds,” Carpenter said in a written statement. Carpenter succeeds Alvaro de Molina, who resigned.

Poor performance of GMAC made the GM to cut its stake in GMAC from 49 percent to 24.5 percent.

The two are to tie the auspicious knot on this day, it all happened on the behest of Raj’s parents, sister along with his brother-in-law as everyone wanted the two to settle down.

It was during the Valentines Day that Raj had presented Shilpa with a heart shaped ring and then a few days later in March when the two had gone to Surrey, UK he bought her a big mansion there. It was during this time that the two had decided to fix a date by this year end.

So, according to a source, It was Shilpa’s Mother who fixed up a date for the engagement.On the 24th of October the two were engaged and a pre Punjabi ceremony called Roca was held. (This is to confirm the legitimacy of the couple). Since Raj is a Punjabi, this ceremony was held to solemnize the relationship. The big surprise came when Raj took out a flawless 20- carat Diamond ring and put it on her finger. Everyone including Shilpa was surprised for a few seconds.

According to a socialite, the ring has been designed by The British Jewelers, Boodles, with a few valuable tips from Raj himself.
Raj Kundra is a high profile 34 year old businessman and has a flair for the finer things in life. In India he manages Shilpa’s production House and also co holds the IPL team, Rajasthan Royals with Shilpa. Apart from that this high profile businessman is the owner of a reputed business Enterprise which trades in precious stones in Dubai.

However it was none other than Manish Malhotra who created Shilpa’s designer sari which was a pansy pink chiffon one and the blouse was an earth colored one, it made her look stunning to say the least.Even Shilpa’s parent’s clothes were designed by Manish.

The engagement was held at the posh upgrade Juhu house of Raj in Mumbai. According to a socialite the catering was done by China Garden Mumbai. It was a chic menu and the starters had Corn Cream, Chow Chu Prawns, Fish with black Olives, Chicken Sumai(steamed),Lettuce Wraps Stuffed Vegetables, Cottage Cheese(Paneer) ,Vegetable Shanghai dumpling. The main course was Veg teppan Soba,Egg fried rice, Fortune rice, stir fried Chinese greens, Kung Pao potato with okra, Special veggies Thai curry, butter garlic prawns,Sapo chicken etc. The dessert had items like date pancake, Caramel Custard, chocolate Mouse, Honey noodles with Vanilla ice cream.

There was no hi fi party for any of the film folk as Shamita, Shilpa’s younger sister was in the reality show Big Boss and was not at home.The couple had since gone off to gain spiritual blessings from spiritual gurus Amma Bhagvan and Kalki Bhagvan of the Oneness University in a place called Varadaiahpalem in Chitoor, Andhra Pradesh.

The couple had got permission for special sessions of blessings over a few days from the spiritual gurus to lead a happy and contended married life. We wish them the best too.

On her Sangeet today, she will wear a hot pink and other vibrant colors silk kaftan with zari work and Swarovski crystals done by Tarun Tahiliani.

Shilpa’s sister Shamita will be wearing a gold and peach salwar kameez designed by Manish Malhotra today, and for the wedding, an anarkali-cut salwar-kameez in mauve and blue by Tarun Tahiliani.

The groom, Raj Kundra is not much behind. Designer duo Shantanu-Nikhil has designed a chic black sherwani with trousers for Raj for the reception. He wanted subtle bling into the outfit, so the designer duo has added muted Swarovski crystals.

Even the wedding card speaks for the fairy tale wedding! Each card costs Rs.500 and is designed by Delhi designer Ravish Kapoor. The card envelope has a tied around seal with a lavish broach with the first letters of Shilpa’s and Raj’s first names along with the date of their wedding. The wedding has a regal touch and the card shows that.

There are various big names in the invitee list. It is reported that Shilpa has invited Jermaine Jackson and Shane Warne for the wedding. Also said that cards are being sent to Amitabh Bachchan and family, SRK and family, the Kapoors, Rekha, Farah Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Karan Johar, the Deols, Sushmita Sen, Salman Khan and the liquor baron Vijay Malya! Ganesh Hegde, Shilpa’s friend-choreographer has set everyone to perform for the hot couple on Sangeet. Daler Mehendi will perform at the Hawaiian themed Sangeet function.

There will be special spa treatment for the invitees as Spa therapist offer massages and other spa services to the guests. Shilpa and her friend’s spa Oasis is involved and the staffs are quite happy to offer services at the wedding.
The dishes of the lavish buffet at the wedding is decided as per Shilpa’s favorite barbecue style and also comprise Hyderabadi and Awadhi dishes from Mumbai’s Foodlink restaurant. The dessert will be pan flavored ice cream and will be ordered from Ahmadabad.

There will be a star studded reception on 24th Nov after the 22nd Nov wedding and the duo is reported to fly off to the Bahamas for their one-month long honeymoon!

With so much of hypes and sparkles all around, it seems the Shettys and the Kundras don’t really bother about the finance part when it comes to this high profile wedding. The stunning bride Shilpa must be eagerly waiting for her groom Raj to come in a chariot to the wedding venue on Sunday afternoon.

Search warrant records released Friday show that Dr. Conrad Murray bought the sedative propofol from Applied Pharmacy Services on May 12, according to receipts found in his Las Vegas medical office. The Los Angeles County coroner blamed propofol in ruling that the 50-year-old pop music icon’s June 25 death was a homicide. The coroner also cited the sedative was lorazepam.

Murray, 56, is the focus of a Los Angeles police homicide investigation, but has not been charged with a crime yet. Propofol is usually used in medical settings by anesthesia professionals to render patients unconscious for surgery. Officials say it is not meant for use as a sleep agent. However, the milky liquid drug is not regulated by state and federal authorities as a controlled substance.

Drug Enforcement Administration spokeswoman Sarah Pullen in Los Angeles said a doctor who is licensed in two states can buy propofol in one state and administer it in the other.

The affidavit showed that authorities tracing the manufacturing lot numbers of propofol bottles found in Murray’s medical bag and on Jackson’s bedside table learned that Murray bought five, 100-milliliter bottles of the drug from the Las Vegas pharmacy as part of an order costing $853.

He paid $65 extra to have it sent to him by overnight express, the document states.

Murray and his intentions! What did he earn killing Micheal? He will be put behind the bars and Murray was never prepared for it. Murray and his evil mind both is in danger now. We are all waiting for the right kind of punishment for him. He must suffer for taking life of the King of Pop, whom we will not get anymore.

Friend-choreographer Ganesh Hegde is invited to choreograph everyone’s dance moves for the grand Sangeet on 21st Nov.  Ganesh says, “There’s no singular theme, but yes, we will explore and celebrate that Shilpa, who is from a South Indian (Bunt) family, is marrying Raj, who is a Punjabi. We’ll have a good mix of South Indian and Punjabi style dance and music.” It seems they have planned a role play on her future in-laws. Dance performances are also going to be showcased by them. There are no professional dancers invited in the Sangeet function.

Shilpa will be dancing on some of her own numbers. Apart from that, the hot babe and her beau Raj will be dancing on the hit number “Teri Ore” from the film Singh is King and also some lovey-dovey hit songs.

She will be draped in a kaftans outfit in a blend of beautiful hues designed by Tarun Tahiliani for her mehendi. Her jewellery will feature breath-taking diamonds from Anmol Jewellers.

All set to go guys…it’s time now for Shilpa and her folks to “Shut up and bounce” on her lavish Sangeet ceremony!

We can run the whole history of Hollywood, including the ‘Ben Hur’s, the ‘Ten Commandment’s’, ‘the ‘Roman Holliday’s’ and a host of other classic fares, and yet has a movie met with such critical acclaim as the legendary 1964 drama.

The film which essentially portrays a universal yet controversial subject at the time, of miscegenation, still evokes or elicits the same emotions in the audience as it did generations back. The movie starred Richard Mulligan, Barbara Barrie and Bernie Hamilton among others.

The movie tells the story of a married woman, played by Barbara Barrie who separates from her husband, played by Richard Mulligan and goes on to marry an African American, played by Bernie Hamilton following a  brief affair. However, when the battle for the child’s custody moves to court, the judge prejudicially rules in favor of the natural father, on the ground that the child, impressionable as he is, can hardly have a proper upbringing in a ‘mixed’ household. This sets off a chain of unforgettable dramatic sequences, as the ‘colored’ father vows to take on the prejudiced system and fight for his parental rights.

At a time when the famous ‘Civil Rights Movement’ inspired by the venerable Rev. Martin Luther King, was on the cusp of bringing about a cultural transformation in the United States of America from a racially motivated to racially tolerant society, this epic movie, depicting a ‘colored’ father’s fight for his parental rights, sure brought home the message of universal brotherhood and tolerance sans color or race.

And the legacy of ‘One Potato – Two Potato’ continues to live on.

Well there are many interesting facts about the movie. Harold has fallen ill and his ogre son-in-law Shrek and daughter Fiona are supposed to be the successor of the throne. Shrek insisted that, an ogre can’t be the king and that there has to be someone else for the job. With his final few breaths, the king tells Shrek that there is one other heir who can become the new King of Far Far Away: his nephew, Arthur.

Shrek sets out to find this new king, along with Donkey and Puss in Boots. As they’re sailing off, Fiona runs to the dock and announces to Shrek that he’s going to be a father. Shocked, Shrek begins to have nightmares about his future children on the journey to Worcestershire Academy, where they eventually discover that “Artie,” who is an academy student, is a loser picked on by the other students – even the nerds. Artie is initially thrilled to be the new king, and excited to be on his way to the throne, until Donkey and Puss inadvertently scare him by talking about things like plague and famine. Panicked, Artie tries to take control of the ship and ends up crashing it on an island where they meet Artie’s retired wizard teacher, Merlin.

Meanwhile, a vengeful Prince Charming (Rupert Everett) has gone to the Poison Apple Bar, where he encounters a slew of fairy tale villains including Captain Hook (Ian McShane), the Evil Queen (Susanne Blakeslee), a Cyclops (Mark Valley), Rumpelstiltskin (Conrad Vernon), Mabel the Ugly Stepsister (talk show host Regis Philbin), the Headless Horseman (Conrad Vernon), Stromboli the Puppet Master (Chris Miller), and an assortment of outlaws, black knights, pirates, ents, and witches. Although they initially despise Charming, he persuades them to fight for their “happily ever after”.

The villains feel their side of the story has never been told and now is the time to do it. Charming and the other villains invade the kingdom and pillage for a time before attacking the castle, disrupting Fiona’s baby shower. They capture all of Shrek’s fairy tale friends (Gingerbread Man, Pinocchio, The Big Bad Wolf (a cross between the three little pigs and Little Red Riding Hood’s wolf), The Three Blind Mice and The Three Little Pigs, Dragon, and Donkey and Dragon’s children. Fiona and Lilian try to escape through an underground passage, along with Doris the Ugly Stepsister, Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel; the ladies are captured, and however, when Rapunzel betrays them and leads them into a trap. They learn that she is in love with Charming, who plans to make her his queen once he claims the throne.

Captain Hook and some of his pirates track Shrek and company to Merlin’s island, where they attempt to capture Shrek and kill the others. They find that Charming is bent on revenge against Shrek for ’stealing’ his “happily ever after,” and plans to kill.

Shrek tells Charming that Artie was just a patsy to take his place as King of Far Far Away. Charming believes Shrek and decides not to kill the boy. Artie, who had just been growing to trust Shrek, is crushed by this and runs away. Donkey and Puss are thrown into the tower with Fiona and the other ladies. Elsewhere, Donkey and Puss work to free Gingy, Pinocchio, the wolf and pigs, Dragon, and the Dronkey. As the kingdom watches, Charming stages a theatrical performance in which he heroically rides to the rescue of Rapunzel in her (fake) tower and sings, somewhat badly. To Charming’s profound annoyance, the chained Shrek wins the audience’s support by ridiculing his singing and acting. Just as Charming is about to kill Shrek, Fiona and her friends, along with Puss, Donkey and the Fairy Tale characters, leap onto the stage to confront the villains. It goes awry, however, as the villains largely outnumber the heroes and take them prisoner again. In the nick of time, Artie arrives and convinces the villains to stop and turn over a new leaf, proving himself to possess effective leadership skills. He says a word of wisdom-”Just because some people treat you like a loser, it doesn’t mean you are one. The thing that matters most is what you think of yourself. If there is something you really want or someone you really want to be then you are standing in your own way.” The villains drop their weapons and release their captives. Charming, furious at having been thwarted by this boy, lunges for him with his sword. Shrek blocks the blow and appears to take it in his own chest, leading Charming to exult; the attack missed, however, and the sword is lodged harmlessly under Shrek’s arm. Shrek informs Charming that he needs to keep looking for his own happily ever after, “because I’m not giving up mine.” Dragon slyly knocks over Rapunzel’s tower, which lands on Charming, and the crowd cheers. Charming’s crown is sent rolling across the stage by the impact and is caught by Artie. Shrek tells him that the throne is his if he wants it, but it is his decision to make. Artie lifts the crown toward the audience, who cheer him loudly, and then sets it on his own head. While the kingdom celebrates their new monarch, Merlin appears and restores Puss and Donkey to their proper bodies, though their tails remain switched.

As Far Far Away is left in the capable hands of young King Arthur, Shrek retires with Fiona to their swamp, having three ogre babies.

The last entry on Kim’s popular blog “I Like To Fork Myself” said “Say hi to forever” and had a link to a video of the song I Go Deep by British singer Jim Rivers.

“The French police have informed us that Korean citizen Kim Daul committed suicide in her apartment,” Korean embassy spokesman Lee Seung Yoo said. “One of her friends found her body hanging in her apartment.”"Her family are coming to Paris from Seoul and will be arriving this evening or tomorrow morning,” he added.

“She was a top model and a great friend of all of us at Next.” Her agency said.

“We express deep condolences to Daul Kim’s family.” Her agency in South Korea, Esteem, said.

The young model was born in South Korea and she debuted on the runway for Chanel, Dries Van Noten and Maison Martin Margiela in 2007, and recently appeared in a commercial for Christopher Kane’s Topshop line.

No one knows why is suicide becoming a common form of death for models and no one knows why Daul did the same.

There have been few minor changes like – the wolves will get ample screen space in New Moon unlike last year’s Twilight, the look and style of the film after new director Chris Weitz came on board the franchise has significantly changed.

Bella is left unprotected and exposed to wandering vampires who are pretty angry of Bella’s former lover’s family as they barbequed some of their friends. After Edward’s departure, she is left emotionally shatter and cuts off ties from her friends and family.

Taylor Lautner Bella’s childhood friend Jacob Black turns up and Bella’s wounds begin to slowly heal when Jacob comes back into her life. The director has done a fabulous job with Jacob and his wolf pack brothers. The wolves are pretty good and are convincing enough to portray that they are outsiders with a secret agenda of living. The young wolves have some funny moments too.

Weitz has done an incredible job with the secondary cast, making all the characters felt needed and there was not a single moment where Bella’s friends and others felt unneeded.

Weitz was taken mainly because of his experience with digital creatures on The Golden Compass and he proved his worth by portraying astounding bear-sized werewolves, amazing fight sequences and the compelling human side of the wolves added a tremendous touch to his craftsmanship.

The Edward Bella romance was portrayed in a soul less fashion (vamps don’t have soul), for example when Robert and Kristen reunite, he acts every bit as robotic and gloomy as his co-star. You won’t see those emotions flowing and that’s how it is supposed to be.

The movie was overall good and nothing astounding, people must go grab a bite at this for sure but don’t expect anything too much out of it.

Ishu Datwani of Anmol Jewellers that has designed Shilpa’s bridal jewellery says, “She will be covered from head to toe in uncut diamonds.”

The couple will then take off for Bahamas for their honeymoon. “The honeymoon has been planned by Raj after doing a lotof research about places that Shilpa has not been to,” reveals a source.
Shilpa visited Siddhivinayak temple with Kundra and sister Shamita on Wednesday to seek divine blessings. This has always been a favourite place for the Bollywood stars before they start of with something like this!

Oprah, 51, is reportedly in talks to roll out a brand new show as part of her foray into television production, after launching her own production network called Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) in partnership with Discovery Communications. The show is expected to air from 2011 and will reach out to an estimated 75 million American households.

Trouble with your family or beloved often leads to serious circumstances or to fulfill the whims and fancies of the casting couch hits the mind to take such wrathful steps! The work pressure and not following the normal biological clock is a reason quite certain.

In many cases the actual reason is still under the veil but we can see some of the models who took the shortcut like Brian Bianchini, Isabella Blow, Lilya Blik, lucy Gordon, Louis Hamilton, Margaux Hamingway, Nafisa Joseph, Ruslana Kurshunova, Marilyn Monroe, Yukiko Yukada, Kuljeet Randhawa, Willy Ray, Sue Williams, Woo-Seung yeon and many others.

Blow’s death was initially reported as being caused by ovarian cance. However, a coroner later ruled the death a suicide. In the inquest, Blow’s sister, Lavinia Verney, stated that after she discovered her sister had ingested the poison, Blow had told her: “I’m worried that I haven’t taken enough.After her death, Detmar Blow confirmed that his wife suffered from depression and had once declared, “I can’t beat it”.

Kuljeet Randhawa 1 January 1976 – 8 February 2006) was an Indian actress and model. The former Gladrags  model was best known for her role in the Kohinoor-series.

Randhawa also appeared in several television series including Hip Hip Hurray, C.A.T.S., and a lead role in STAR One’s Special Squad]

On February 8, 2006, Randhawa hanged herself at her apartment in Juhu, a suburban of Mumbai. In a suicide note, Kuljeet stated that she was ending her life as she was unable to cope with life’s pressures. Shortly before her death, she had completed a role in the film By Chance.]

Marilyn Monroe(June 1, 1926 – August 5, 1962), born Norma Jeane Mortenson. On August 5, 1962, LAPD police sergeant Jack Clemmons received a call at 4:25 a.m. from Dr. Ralph Greenson, Monroe’s psychiatrist, proclaiming that Monroe was found dead at her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California.[119] She was 36 years old. Daul Kim’s agents have confirmed her death but thus far no official cause of death has been disclosed. However, a source tells New York Magazine that they believe that Daul Kim committed suicide.

Kim started modeling back in 2006, appearing in editorials for Korean Vogue. Kim worked with Vogue for most of her career. The most notable Vogue appearance was in January of 2009 when she impersonated fellow supermodel Linda Evangelista in a Korean Vogue editorial.

Kim has walked for such designers as Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, Alexander McQueen and Chanel. Daul’s most recent work included modeling for Christopher Kane for a Topshop TV commercial and being photographed for the fall issue of Dansk.

Kim maintained a blog named “I like to Fork Myself” in which she kept on  updating about herself. Kim’s agency released a statement about her death saying, “She was a top model and a great friend to all of us at Next. Please respect her family’s privacy at this time of sadness. We will all miss her very much.”

The question asked is why is it that models commit suicide? What is the cause which makes them to make such a strong and bold move of ending their lives? Is it the pressure at work or some other issues which is so much provocating….  The story continues and we never get an answer…may Kim’s soul rest in peace.

Daul was a resident of New York these days. With stunningly good looks, the 5′10″, Brown eyed girl captured the hearts of many with her quirky, fun personality and personal style.

She had an interesting blog writing technique which was followed by the whole world. She also was a good painter.
Daul was always stunning in the run but what many did not know was she was even more interesting of the runway.

That happy, young, chirpy fun girl is no more in this world as her dead body was recovered from her apartment today morning. What’s worse is that the death can be a possible suicide. None of her friends or family ever felt that she was depressed or something was wrong. Her agency “Elite” was shocked to hear such news about Daul.

Elite said “she will be remembered.” The stunningly gorgeous and sweet Korean girl passed aay at a tender age, leaving behind a dense mist innumerous questions to which there are no answers.

It’s hard to believe that a spunky young 20 year old girl like Kim, who achieved so much in her life in such a short span, can just end her life like that.

The cause of death is still not known but people fear, that it’s a suicide. Fall 2007 shows marked her first runway debut.  She recently appeared in a commercial for Christopher Kane’s Topshop line.

She will be missed. And may her soul rest in peace.

No! It’s not due to the recession. USPS’s program is quite costly but its not being shut down for shortage of funds. Last year, a Maryland postal worker recognized an Operation Santa volunteer as a registered sex offender. The postal worker stopped the volunteer before he could answer a child’s letter, after the incident USPS decided to shut it down.

This year volunteers are prohibited from having direct access to children’s last names and addresses, which are instead redacted from each letter and replaced with codes that match computerized addresses known only to the USPS. It is up to individual post offices to determine if they want to participate in the program, due to the extra expense and time.
The letters which formerly were generically addressed to Santa Claus house, North Pole and were delivered to North Pole, Alaska, will go to Anchorage instead.

It’s a sad news fir Alaskan people as this was a unique symbol for people who lived there. This is the Grinch loading Christmas on his sleigh, stealing it from the kids, and unless something will melt his heart, the postal service’s heart, and open it up to the spirit of Christmas again, it’s going to be devastating to many people,” said mayor Doug Isaacson.

The children would write the same address but it would be delivered someplace else.
