Chris Martin lends strange baby names his support

Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin showed his support for people who give odd names to their children by stating that naming a baby ‘Chewbacca’ is ok. Martin and his actress wife Gwyneth Paltrow had topped the list for odd names four years ago when they named their daughter Apple.

The British-born musician further added that he believes the world should mind its own business and not comment on someone else’s personal choice.  “People make a big fuss over names,” News.com.au quoted Martin as having said in an interview with America’s Blender magazine.

“Names of babies, names of albums, names of bands. There’s nothing weird about calling your baby Chewbacca if that’s what you want to call your baby.  “It’s no stranger than Sarah. A name is just a noise, and if you like it, then f*** what everyone else says,” he added.  (ANI)
