The Clint Eastwood drama ‘Gran Torino’ has topped the weekend box office after raking in 29 million dollars.
According to studio estimates, ‘Bride Wars’, starring Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson, landed the second spot with 21.5 million dollars, reports E! Online.
Supernatural thriller ‘The Unborn’ came third with 21.1 million dollars while ‘Marley & Me’, starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, stood fourth with 11.4 million dollars.
Brad Pitt’s ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ rounded off the top five after raking in 9.5 million dollars.
The top-grossing weekend films are:

2. Bride Wars, $21.5 million
3. The Unborn, $21.1 million
4. Marley & Me, $11.4 million
