barbie? fat ankles? Bad example is right! No one is that thin, or has that certain frame! That is only sending an unreachable fantasy for young girls. I almost fell under the spell of the “fake” girl when I was little. I threw them all away one day when I looked at my doll again, too thin, too much pink, and too girlie. That just wasn’t and still isn’t me. No girl should go thought tears trying to look like a girl who is too thin and is plastic. Many barbie girl fans I know starve themself trying to get that frame.

Listen, everyone knows that ‘musicals that have sequels’ even Disney movies that have sequels are frankly bad news. And you just be either ignorant to pop culture or ignorant in general to see that.

Just because a composer who has done hit musicals in the past, hasn’t released a hit in about 15 years, doesn’t mean he can go pawn off money on the only musical ranking in more money than Titanic (the film) alone. It’s digusting, and especially the story is bizzare and ridiculous.

ugh..so depressing. Its too bad that Roman Polanski’s arrest has become fodder for a review of the offense itself (particularly through our post-millennial feminist lens).

What is really at issue; for the DA today, is the legal issues, and not emotionally-charged garbage which is predominantly spewed by writers and bloggers everywhere.

If the prosecutor, at the time of the original trial, today has sympathy for Polanski due to a miscarriage of justice, that should at the very least turn on a few light bulbs.

Instead, what we have is this masturbatory prose infecting the media talking about no-means-no, rape is rape, and he should pay for his crime…

That’s all well and good, but this whole issue is about legalities. When his lawyer, the victims lawyer and the original prosecutor on on-side with him (particularly given the fact that these are the people with the most intimate knowledge of the case); some people should just keep quiet about peripheral issues and get off the soap box.
