Corey Haim: Corey’s death mirrors Britney Murphy’s last days!

One would still fondly recall his chubby face, in a host of popular Hollywood flicks of the eighties like ‘Lucas’, ‘Murphy’s Romance’, ‘The Lost Boys’, ‘Drive’ and ‘Dream a Little Dream’.

Indeed, prominent Canadian actor Corey Haim, was a nothing short of a screen rage back in the eighties, and commanded a heady fan rush across the globe.

And as we are all aware, the sordid and earth shattering news of the untimely demise of this popular Celluloid icon this morning, has cast a pall of gloom over the hallowed world of Showbiz.

And even as a deep sense of loss prevails among the Showbiz fraternity, it would appear from the latest reports, that the preliminary updates on the death of this popular screen heartthrob, sounds uncannily similar to the last days of bubbly Hollywood starlet Brittany Murphy.

It ought to be mentioned in this context that, the chirpy, full of life, Brittany Murphy, was believed to have suffered a fairly dramatic down turn healthwise, in her last days, and was even rumored to be living off prescription drugs.

And on the evidence of the latest report, carried by E! Online, it is learned that the Los Angeles County Coroner, has reportedly confirmed that Corey was seriously ill before he died, and that the investigators have already got hold of a host of prescription drugs, in his name.

LA County Coroner Ed Winter was quoted as saying about Corey’s death, “He had flu-like symptoms. He got out of bed at 1:30. He started to walk and went to his knees and his mom helped him back onto the bed. He became unresponsive within about a minute or so. She called paramedics and they transported him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:15.”

It is further known that Corey was putting up with his cancer –stricken mother Judy at the Oakwood Apartments, in his last days.

From the evidence of the above, it sure appears that Corey Haim may have suffered a similar tragic fate as Brittany.
