Dakota Fanning: Dakota Fanning vows to pursue her university education

After Harry Potter star Emma Watson, teen actress Dakota Fanning has vowed not to let her movie career stop her from pursuing a university education.

The 14-year-old star has already started preparing for university degree.

"I definitely want to go to college. I’ve always wanted to, so I definitely think that’s something I will do," the Daily Star quoted her as saying. "(My parents) definitely support me in that and I’m lucky they supported me in going to a regular high school too, because I was home schooled before," she added.

The ‘War of the Worlds’ star was home schooled from second grade to eighth grade but later gave it up for a more traditional education at a California private school.

"I was home schooled from second grade to eighth grade and I thought it was great because it helped me to do what I love to do. It worked out really well, but I think for ninth grade you want the high school experience," she said. (ANI)
