Daniel Radcliffe wants to play a drag queen

After taking the audience by storm with his boy wizard role, Daniel Radcliffe has said that he would love to play the role of a ‘drag queen’.

In an interview to the October issue of ‘Details’, the Harry Potter star revealed that he wants to play a drag queen so that he gets a chance to wear lots eye make up.

“I think part of me would love to play a drag queen. It would be an excuse to wear loads of eye makeup,” Usmagazine.com quoted him, as saying.

The 19-year-old actor, who has topped the list of ‘Hollywood’s Highest Earning Tweens’ along with Hanna Montana star Miley Cyrus, insists that he isn’t blowing through his bucks.

“The only thing I’m likely to spend on is artwork because that’s the only thing I’m interested in that costs a lot of money,” he said.

Radcliffe has also made appearances in stage productions and a number of TV shows and films, including the ITV film My Boy Jack and the stage show Equus, which achieved much critical acclaim. He is believed to have a fortune of just short of £20 million, mainly earned from the Harry Potter franchise.
