Dannii Minogue faces ‘X-Factor’ sack over ‘no longer serving purpose’

Dannii Minogue’s fading popularity on ‘X-Factor’ might just cost her judge job, as the show’s chiefs believe she’s ‘no longer serves a purpose’, it has emerged.

Kylie Minogue’s younger sister, who won the show in 2007 with Leon Jackson on the biggest television talent competition in Europe, would purportedly not been seen returning in the series next year.

“Dannii was brought in initially to be the younger counterpart to Sharon, but since Cheryl Cole arrived, she has replaced Dannii in that role and become much more popular,” the Mirror quoted a source as telling Heat magazine.

The 37-year-old Aussie is also said to have a turf with co-judge Simon Cowell who, sources claims, has already offered the singer’s ‘rival’ a chance to do another series. (ANI)
