The JK idea was just that....an idea, which he told David about, and he said that he didn't like the sound of it.....no refusing involved....and Davis wasn't "very unhappy" at all, and this email wasn't to his boss, but to the Times Journo Ben Cook who is co writing his book "the Writer's Tale"...oh and you conventiently forgot to mention the bit where Davies says that David Tennant might be right.....and no special was cancelled, just another idea was thought of....
