Did Roger Moore smoke marijuana after befriending ‘non-smoker’ Tony Curtis?

James Bond star Sir Roger Moore has prompted speculation that he had smoked marijuana after befriending famous “non-smoker” Tony Curtis in the Seventies, by revealing how he once discovered an ashtray in the latter’s home in Los Angeles.

He revealed that he came to know about Curtis’ habits before they had begun filming iconic British TV series ‘The Persuader’.

The English actor said that the discovery was quite surprising for him because Curtis was a prominent anti-smoking campaigner at the time.

“Two months later Tony arrives (in Britain) – Heathrow (airport). They find marijuana on him. He was lucky – he got fined 50 quid (pounds),” Contactmusic quoted him as having told U.K. TV host Jonathan Ross.

When Ross asked him if he had ever shared marijuana with Curtis, he replied with a smile: “No… not with Tony!” (ANI)
