‘Dizzy Feet Foundation’ meets ‘So You Think You Can Dance’

While it has been already known that Katie Holmes is set to appear on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, it was not clear when will be the day of appearance. While previous reports had said the date to be 8th July, Katie will be appearing on the 100th episode of the show on 23rd July.

The appearance fees charged by Katie Holmes will be donated to the ‘Dizzy Feet Foundation’ (Dizzy Feet Dance Academy) which Katie is associated with.

‘Dizzy Feet Foundation’ was founded by Nigel Lythgoe, Adam Shankman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Katie Holmes. The Foundation’s stated mission is
a) To provide scholarships and grants to talented dancers, choreographers and teachers;
b) To establish national standards for dance education and an accreditation program for dance;
c) To develop provide and support dance education programs for disadvantaged children by working with community organizations

So You Think You Can Dance is an American dance reality show and competition that airs on Fox in the United States.
