Doctor Who producer brands Prince of Wales a ‘miserable swine’

The executive producer of Doctor Who has branded Prince of Wales a ‘miserable swine’ for turning down a cameo appearance in the science fiction show.

While speaking at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, writer and executive producer Russell T Davies told 2,000 fans that the Prince Charles refused his invitation to appear in the popular BBC drama.

What’s more, Davies called the Prince a ‘miserable swine’. Referring to his new book ‘Doctor Who: The Writer’s Tale’, Davies was asked about his plans for a cameo in the time-travelling series for the Prince.

“He turned us down,” the Telegraph quoted Davies, as saying. (ANI)

Talk about talking a quote out of context. If you know anything of Russell T Davies, or bothered to read his book, you’d know that the phrase ‘miserable swine’ was written (and said) in his typical mock-offended way.
