Double Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman is not just an acting legend but a nice man also, for everyone from a disabled beggar to a big businessman considers him to be approachable while walking around the streets of New York.

The ‘Rain Man’ star was recently seen taking out his wallet and handing a note to a disabled beggar.

The actor was also seen shaking hands with a restaurateur who asked him in for a drink, and posing for photographs.

According to the Sun, upon being asked whether the ongoing financial crisis had affected him, he said: “I spent most of my life before films waiting on tables so it’s always been unreal for me.”

He, however, declined to comment on Chris Brown’s alleged assault on Rihanna, saying only that the situation was “unfortunate”. (ANI)
