There is a growing opinion among many people that although David Letterman carried the joke a bit too far, Palin’s are making it worse by stretching the issue further.

firedavidletterman.com has been created with a view that “David Letterman Must Held Be Accountable For His Disgraceful Statements.” The idea is to pressurize CBS to fire David using internet and rally as media.

Letterman has been rounded up as he had joked “One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game, during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez.”

Letterman later stated “these are not jokes made about her 14-year-old daughter” and that he “would never joke about raping a 14 year old.” He said that jokes were about Palin’s 18 year old daughter, Bristol Palin, while acknowledging the joke was “ugly,” “cheap,” and “in poor taste.”
