Harbhajan keen to play for Aussie sides in T20 Champions League

Indian off spinner Harbhajan Singh is interested in playing for one of the two Australian sides that will take part in the inaugural Twenty20 Champions League later this year.

India’s leading off-spinner, with 291 Test wickets, is understood to be keen to play for Western Australia or Victoria in the eight-team competition to be staged in India in the first week of December, Fox Sports News reported.

Harbhajan’s possible inclusion in an Australian side is certain to spark debate, with the controversial 27-year old having had a number of on-field run-ins with Australian cricketers in the past year.

Earlier, Harbhajan has vowed to shed his bad boy image that put India and Australia on a warpath last summer.

Harbhajan said he was sick of being known as international cricket’s chief troublemaker and is ready to clean up his image. (ANI)
