Helen Mirren : Helen Mirren set to receive lifetime achievement honour

Brit actress Dame Helen Mirren is to be awarded a lifetime achievement honour for her contribution to the film industry.

Mirren, 64, will be presented with the trophy at the 19th annual Women in Film and Television Awards in London next month, reports the Daily Express.

Event organisers say Mirren will receive the honour for her “outstanding and lasting contribution to film and television”.

Previous winners of the award include former Bond girl Dame Diana Rigg, multi Oscar-winner Katharine Hepburn, and Educating Rita star Julie Walters. (ANI)
