I’m not Tom Jones’ love-child: Duffy

Welsh singer songwriter Duffy has laughed off claims that she is the love-child of Sir Tom Jones. Both 24-year-old Duffy and 68-year-old Jones are Welsh singers who had been born and brought up in Wales.

The idea about Jones being her father was put forward by fans in the US, where she is currently touring, and according to them the proof of parentage lies in the powerful voices that they both have.

“I’m dealing with this every day here. It’s kind of bizarre. You’ve got to laugh,” the Sun quoted her as saying.Duffy, who had a number one hit with Mercy, stated that her father is John Duffy and that he runs a bar in her hometown of Nefyn, North Wales. (ANI)
