Isaac Hayes may have died working out

Police probing legendary soul singer Isaac Hayes believe that he might have died while working out on a treadmill.
Hayes was found “unresponsive” near an exercise machine following which he was rushed to Memphis, Tennessee hospital where he passed away on Aug 10 morning.
“The family had last seen him about noon. Family members had gone to the grocery store and left him (at) home,” Contactmusic quoted Steve Shular, public information officer for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, as telling People.
“When the family came home around one, his wife’s cousin found him lying on the floor in the basement near a treadmill.
The treadmill was running, so it is believed that he had been working out,” he added.
Shular has denied any foul play.
“There doesn’t seem to be any foul play. We don’t see anything suspicious about his death. There will be a further statement from the hospital about the cause of death,” he added. (ANI)
