Jane Fonda : Jane Fonda wants to ’shake Bernie Madoff till his teeth fall out’

Legendary actress Jane Fonda has spilled her hatred for accused Ponzi scheme king Bernie Madoff in her blog, saying that she wants to “shake him till his teeth fall out.”

Madoff, who effectively is under house arrest as part of his 10 million dollars bail, revealed on December 10 last year that the asset management arm of his firm was a giant Ponzi scheme–or “one big lie.”Bernie Madoff

Fonda, whose play ‘33 Variations’ opens in Broadway next month, has made a scathing attack against the fraudster in her blog.

“I was thinking today on my way to the theatre how grateful I am just to be working, never mind doing something really exciting. So many aren’t. I ache when I read about the layoffs. I’ve lost a lot but it’s nothing compared to friends of mine who have lost everything they had because every penny they saved over their entire lifetimes was invested in one of Madoff’s schemes,” Fox News quoted her as saying.

“I read a few days ago that Madoff was complaining that he felt like a prisoner in his own penthouse! I want to shake him till his teeth fall out. No matter what happens once this play opens, I won’t be complaining. I feel blessed,” she added.

In ‘33 Variations’, Fonda co-stars with Tom Hanks’ son Colin, Susan Kellerman, Samantha Mathis, and Don Amendolia. (ANI)
