Julianne Moore has reportedly been roped in to play Hillary Clinton in a new movie ‘Special Relationship’.
According to reports, the ‘The Children of Men’ actress will share the frame with Dennis Quaid, who will portray former U.S. President Bill Clinton.
The film will explore the relationship between Tony Blair, played by Michael Sheen, and Bill between 1997 and 2000.
It will also tell the story of how Bill’s “inappropriate relationship” with Monica Lewinsky cost him his place in the White House, reports the China Daily.
A source said: “This is a big role for both of them. Playing Hillary, a wife who stands by her unfaithful husband, will be something she can get her teeth stuck into.”
The movie would be the final one in the political trilogy written by Peter Morgan, after ‘The Deal’, based on Tony Blair’s rise to power in the British Labour party, and ‘The Queen’, which depicted the reaction of the British Royal Family following the death of Diana, Princess of Wales in 1997.
