Karo Parisyan again pulls out a day before fight!
Karo Parisyan has done it again. He pulled of a day before the weigh in of the UFC 106. It’s like history repeating itself. Previously he withdrew from a fight with Yoshida at UFC 88 the day before the weigh-ins as well. And that not all, he tested positive for banned painkillers hydrocodone, hydromorphone and oxymorphone after his fight at UFC 94 against Kim Dong-Hyun for which Nevada State Commission suspended Parisyan for nine months, fined him a total of $32,000. Pretty heavy huh?
An angry UFC president Dana White tweeted in his Twitter account “Karo Parisyan has [expletive] over the UFC, the fans and his opponent again!!! He will not be fighting saturday or ever again in the UFC!!,” White Tweeted. “Pulled out of the fight the day before weigh ins again with a laundry list of excuses!!! Let the press ask karo why! Let him explain.”
White later stated that dustin Hazelett, who was Karo’s opponent, will be awarded his entire purse + win bonus, not that bad for the submission specialist eh?
