Popstar Katy Perry and beau Travis McCoy have reportedly parted ways after a year long romance.
The “I Kissed a Girl” hitmaker and McCoy announced the split shortly after holidaying in Mexico, according to sources.
“It’s a hardship, but she’s regrouping,” People magazine quoted a source, as telling Celebuzz.
After the split, McCoy posted a song “Looking at the Front Door” on his blog on December 31, with lyrics like “My Laptop is my new b-. Loyal. Listens. and Never Let’s Me Down.”
The song includes the lines: “We fight every night, now that’s not kosher/I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer/And wake up to be greeted by an argument again/You act like you’re ten.”
The same day, Perry performed at the Gridlock New Year’s Eve party on the Paramount lot.
“She hung out with her friends all night. She was in a great mood,” a source said.
“Nothing seemed out of the ordinary,” the source added.
A rep for Perry had no comment on the singer’s personal life.
McCoy’s rep was not available for comment. (ANI)
