Kate Winslet in Ninja Assassin : Movie Review

This movie is as the name suggests an action packed drama set in the most sophisticated locales in and outside the studio.

The basic story is about a guy who is a ninja albeit a bit of a rouge.(played by former member of boy band, Rain) He holds a grudge against the whole clan as they had abducted him as a small boy while his ninja honey had been killed by them and its all about how he takes his revenge. Mika, played by Naomie Harris, is an Interpol type of cop who has severe doubts that world Governments hired ninjas so that they could make the ninjas do all the dirtiest jobs. The story progresses with a lot of flashback events like going from the training in the ninja school, the first wound, first rain etc.

The action sequences are very artistically shot and each event has been given every minute detail in an aesthetic sense. The lead actor Rain has put in every effort that would possibly be expected out of him.

The modern ninja fighting technique is very much evident from the sharp eye movement to the muscle and body co-ordination.

All in all a good option for those looking for a bit of action to get a little pepped up.
