Katrina Kaif: Kat down with jaundice!

Didn’t we say that ‘hotbod’, Katrina Kaif has hit a purple patch in her hitherto fledgling Bollywood career, following a string of box office successes and that her stars have never shone better? Well, it seems that the law of averages has finally caught up with her!
The pretty lass has reportedly been diagnosed with ‘jaundice’ and has been forced to confine herself to bed as per her doctor’s orders. Her low hemoglobin count has also rendered her pale and weak.
She couldn’t have contracted this ailment at a more inopportune time as she was readying for her next big screen release ‘De Dana Dan’ opposite the redoubtable Akshay Kumar.
She has also had to postpone all her upcoming engagements and shooting projects owing to this ailment induced layoff.
Be it for her constant shuttling around the globe on shooting assignments or frequent appearances at social do’s where she has been a big draw of late, Katrina has literally been living out of the suitcase!
Hence, although she has looked fine on the surface, deep down she has been fighting a growing weariness, before finally being diagnosed with the dreaded yellow fever on Sunday.
The actor’s business manager was quoted by the ‘Times of India’ as saying, “She’s trying to rest so that she can fulfill her commitments as soon as possible. The doctor has advised her complete bed rest.”
Well, hope the yellow fever doesn’t dull her red hot big screen career!
