Katrina Kaif vs Priyanka chopra –Rat Race?

The most note worthy actresses the whole of last year and still going strong, are a whole bunch of beauties with sharp brains to match. Gone are the days of the ‘Dumb Beauty’. Today’s top heroines have very smart professional moves. Today every actress is taken as seriously as the leading men in bollywood are.

The year that was and going on as of now has very significant names to show on the top performers as far as the leading ladies are concerned. The names Katrina, Asin, Priyanka, Anushka, Konkona, not necessarily in any order, have made a mark for themselves for the top performers.

As Katrina has been a part of one hit after another like ‘Nameste London’, ‘Partner’ and now  ‘New York’, with her forth coming releases of ‘Rajneeti’, ‘Ajab prem Ki Ghazab kahani’ and also Priyadarshan’s ‘De Dana Dan’, Kat is fast becoming one of the most sought after heroines of bollywood. On the other hand we have the ever popular ‘Ghajini’ girl Asin as Kalpana in the movie; she has made a very good place for herself in the industry with her debut film with of course ‘Mr. Perfectionist’, Aamir Khan. Her new release ‘London Dreams’ is also one movie where Asin is getting good reviews for her performance.

Priyanka Chopra has been one of the most successful heroines and she has proved it time and time again. Her role as Meghna Mathur, in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion’, has been very convincing with many aspiring models, identifying with her role in the film.

Konkona Sen Sharma is a note worthy actress in her own genre of films. The latest of her releases ‘Luck By Chance’ has shown this lady’s penchant for acting and she has distinctly traveled a long way from her ‘Mr. And Mrs. Iyer’ and ‘Life in a Metro’ days.

Speaking of new faces, who can forget Anushka Sharma the fresh leading lady of the ShahRukh starrer ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’? This stunning actress made her presence felt with a capital ‘P’ and is flooded with roles of which some are on the floors right now.

With such talented actresses it is certainly going to be tough competition for the others to keep on top of this Rat Race, let’s see who wins accolades.
