Katy Perry : Katy Perry vows to remain celibate in 2009

Katy Perry has vowed to remain celibate in 2009, following her break-up with rocker boyfriend Travis McCoy.

The pair ended its year-long romance over the New Year, and the ‘I Kissed a Girl’ hitmaker has no plans to find new love.

“I’ve actually taken a vow of celibacy this year… no kissing anyone. Just my cat, Kitty Purry,” Usmagazine.com quoted Perry, as telling the new issue of TV Guide.

Recently, Perry urged media not to blow her onstage comments out of proportion and create stories out of it.

She said that media should not dig stories out, as she does not prefer publicizing her private life. (ANI)
