Keith Moon, Eric Clapton, Freddie Mercury in ‘Dream Rock Band

The dream rock band would consist of Keith Moon, Eric Clapton and Freddie Mercury, according to a new poll.

The survey found that the late, great Keith Moon is the drummer most aspiring British musicians would have wanted in their ‘Dream Band Lineup’.

Clapton beat the likes of Brian May, Jimi Hendrix and Slash to be named the ultimate guitarist in the survey, conducted on behalf of Guitar Hero World Tour, reports Contactmusic.

According to the poll, May’s former Queen bandmate Mercury was seen as the ideal vocalist to front any rock band.
