Madonna donated $2.6m to Kabbalah in 2007

Madonna donated 3.1 million dollars in 2007, most of which included her support towards Kabbalah faith, according to recently available tax filings for her Ray of Light Foundation.

The Queen of Pop, who since the late 1990s has been studying at the Kabbalah Centre in Los Angeles, gave away a total of 2,626,529 dollars to the religious group.

Another 4,025 dollars had been donated to its offshoot, ‘Spirituality for Kids’, reports Fox News.

Her charitable aids also extended to Mobilization Against AIDS that received 250,000 dollars from the singer.

Madonna handed down almost 23,000 dollars to a group that sets up playgrounds in Russia.

She further signed cheques for All Saints Church in Pasadena, California, Los Angeles Jewish Big Brothers and Sisters and various field health organisations. (ANI)
