Marilyn Chambers: Cause of Marilyn’s death still unknown!

The death of Marilyn Chambers, one of the first mainstream porn superstars, is still shrouded in mystery although any kind of foul play is not suspected. The coroner’s report has not been submitted as of April 21, 2009.

The pioneering porn star was discovered unconscious by her 17-year-old daughter at her mobile home in the Los Angeles suburb of Canyon Country on Sunday night.

The angelic-looking, blue-eyed blond starred in Behind the Green Door (1972), the first hardcore film to reach a mainstream audience.

She broke a taboo by having sex with a black actor, Johnny Keyes. Chambers went on to make more than 25 porn movies, several of them with late porn star John Holmes, who died of AIDS complications in 1988.

She also released the disco single “Benihana” in 1976 and eight years later turned to politics, running for U.S. vice president on the Personal Choice Party ticket. (ANI)
