Melissa Leo : Melissa Leo likens Oscar preparation to wedding

American actress Melissa Leo, who has been nominated for an Oscar, has revealed that preparing for the awards day makes her feel like she is getting ready for her own wedding.
Leo, 48, has been nominated for her role in the movie ‘Frozen River’, and will be competing for the Best Actress gong on February 22 with actresses Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.
“Getting ready feels like the wedding I’ve never had,” the Daily Star quoted her as telling the New York Post.
But, despite looking forward to the glitzy awards show, the actress isn’t confident she will walk away with the revered industry honour.
“I have no anxiety as I really am genuinely surprised by this nomination and have no expectation of taking home a golden statue,” she added. (ANI)
