Miley Cyrus and the art of publicity!

Now it is becoming like a thumb rule. If it is  about the racy pictures leaked on internet, it has to be about cutie Miley Cyrus. All the media and blogs and websites are screaming from the top of their voice about the raunchy, racy pictures and when you try to search for them all you find is a couple of innocent looking photos. At least that was all I could find. There is more of commotion than the real “raunchy” stuff – so to say.

Guys, this is a 15 year old just enjoying her way to adulthood like anyone else – I don’t see anything wrong with these photos here. In one photo Miley, then 14, takes a shower in a wet t-shirt. A second photo shows Miley with her tummy exposed, blowing a kiss into her iPhone while taking a picture of herself. Her gray t-shirt is rolled up under her bra, showing off her midsection. Big Deal! Much more sensational photos of more famous celebs are available on internet.

Then there is moral police who says How could Miley Cyrus shoot topless for Vanity Fair? She is only 15 and an idol teenage fans worldwide, and posing for a magazine almost nothing is not a good thing. Mama won’t like it honey! But is there actually anything to worry about? I guess no!

However, given the fact that Miley is still immature to understand the selfish motives of people doing all this to her, she is likely to be hurt both emotionally and psychologically. The publicity -for all wrong reasons – is not doing anything good to her. Instead, it is helping the media and the websites to create unnecessary hoopla and grab eyeballs which are the hardest to come by – all at the cost of innocent Miley. She is paying the price of being young and successful.
