Morrissey : Morrissey to retire from music?
Former ‘The Smiths’ frontman Morrissey has hinted that he will quit music industry following the release of his upcoming album.
Morrissey’s new album ‘Years of Refusal’, his ninth solo outing, will be out in February 09.
And the star has branded his latest effort ‘his strongest’.
However, he has hinted to retire from the industry for good – insisting that he wants to avoid losing his dignity by staying in the music business too long.
“I don’t want to go on much longer, really. I think that would suggest a lack of imagination. A certain lack of dignity also. There has to reach a point where you’ve said enough, I think,” Contactmusic quoted him, as telling Filter magazine. (ANI)
