Nikki Catsouras car crash: Let Nikki rest in peace!

Its a case of breach of privacy gone to unimaginable porportions but still not objetionable under law. The story is very sad and tragic when Nikki Catsouras died as she met a horrible accident while driving Porsche 911 Carrera and crashed the vehicle into a concrete structure. The grisly images of the death of Nikki Catsouras found their way on the web only to be desseminated and forwarded by the mindless users.
The incident occured in 2006 but Newsweek is carrying out the story in its May issue to document the emotional trauma which Catsouras family is going through and their crusade for “the need for America’s legal system to better protect privacy in the Internet age”.
The Newsweek writes about the photo “an image so horrific we can’t print it in NEWSWEEK.” It is really a shame why we can’t let Nikki rest in peace and let the family move on with their lives instead of getting haunted by the “cyber-aggressors.” “Nikki’s sisters—Danielle, 18, Christiana, 16, and Kira, 10—have managed to avoid the photos, but live in fear that they’ll happen upon them.”
Let us say no to seeing the pictures even after reading this story. Let us not forward the pictures without judging the consequences. Let us not take pleasure in giving pain to someone. Let us at least be kind to the dead. Can we?

I could not believe all things I have heard about Nikki and as a mother understand the grief her family in going through. I will have the family in my prayers because I know that prayer is a powerful thing. The church I attend has grief sharing classes and would strongly suggest that maybe they should look into something like this. I know it did wonders for my friends when they lost their daughter to a groosom accident and she was a doner and they took all her body parts and replaced with plastic parts. They fought to have that law change so people could know what being a donor entailed. I am so so sorry for their loss and my heart and prayers go out to them.
Sincerely,
